Compte-rendu du séjour à Londres des élèves de Terminale EMM du 02 au 05 Mai 2016
Our great trip to LondonOn Monday morning 2nd May 2016, we took the ferry from Ouistreham to Portsmouth and in the afternoon we took the bus to get to London. We arrived around 5 pm. We slept two nights in an old courthouse transformed into a youth hostel called « Clink78 » located in the North of London near King’s Cross station. In English « clink » means « prison or jail ». In this place « The Clash » famous punk-rock band was judged in 1978 for shooting pigeons !
We took the London underground called « the tube » and double-decker buses to visit the city and we walked a lot !
On Tuesday morning, we saw the Changing of the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace and we visited « Madame Tussaud’s » museum in the afternoon.
On Wednesday morning, we visited the Tower of London and we went shopping on Oxford street in the afternoon.
In the evening, we returned to Portsmouth and we took the ferry back to France.
It was a fantastic trip and we had a very beautiful weather.
